On this date in WCW history: Sean Waltman debuts as 'Syxx' and joins the nWo
On September 16, 1996, Sean Waltman appeared ringside on World Championship Wrestling's (WCW) Monday Nitro after a run in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) as "The 1-2-3 Kid."
"Syxx," as he would come to be known, followed friends Kevin Nash and Scott Hall to the surging promotion and joined the nWo on this date in WCW history.
His run in Atlanta would be a brief one, as he was fired via FedEx less than two years later following a neck injury, only to rejoin the WWF as part of the "D-Generation X" faction alongside Triple H and the New Age Outlaws.
How about it Cagesiders, was Waltman better in the nWo or DX?
