Former WWE/TNA wrestler Matt Hardy arrested for yet another DWI
In a really sad and scary state of affairs, former WWE and TNA wrestler Matt Hardy has been arrested for yet another DWI, less than a month after his previous one. Matt claimed that miraculously all his vices were gone after that car accident, only to be rushed to hospital a few days later after falling down his stairs at the end of a drug fuelled psychosis where he had trashed his house and published a bizarre YouTube video blaming it all on ghosts. He lost whatever sympathy he had left with hardcore wrestling fans by publishing a fake suicide note on YouTube and Twitter, and made things worse by issuing a bogus apology after the fact. As always, Matt claimed that his hospital emergency had made him change for the better, but that was clearly just a part of his latest con.
It's basically the same old story. Matt was pulled over by police near Raleigh Airport after they had received complaints about him driving erratically (with TMZ claiming he almost hit another car on several occasions). The police officer involved then noted that he "had slow and slurred speech, sleepy eyes and a very lackadaisical demeanour", so he asked Matt to walk in a straight line, which he completely messed up on several attempts. So he was made to take a breathalyser test, which showed that he had absolutely no alcohol in his system and proved that booze wasn't the cause of his intoxication. As David Bixenspan of Bleacher Report discovered, another police officer later did a drug evaluation on Matt and determined him to be impaired by a central nervous system depressant, leading to his arrest. For more information on this story please read the police report of the incident and subsequent mug shot that TMZ has released.
Continuing his pattern of behaviour, Matt went on Twitter and protested his innocence in two consecutive tweets before the news had even broke:
For the first time in my life, I was framed.. 0, 0, and O.. I'm truly appalled. This will not go down without a fight! Looks like I've got a bull's eye on my head.
For the first time in my life, I've been gotten! WOW!! 0, 0, and 0.. I'm truly appalled. This will not go down without a fight!
Hopefully, these charges lead to Matt being punished like his brother Jeff was and breaking this cycle of reckless conduct.

God I really want this guy to go away.
News is news, though.
Forget it Donny, you're out of your element.
Yes, WWE still pays for rehab for any of their ex-employees that ask for it. Given that Matt clearly doesn’t think he has a problem, I don’t think he’ll go down that route and it will be up to the authorities to force him into a drug abuse treatment program.

Well
that extends to his dumb bullshit trying to work people. This is news of another arrest. Believe me, I didn’t even want to do this but if we’re calling ourselves a wrestling news site with commentary, that’s what we need to deliver.

I forget which comic said this, but I like it:
They should build a lane just for (impaired) drivers. One lane, both directions, no speed limit.
No, seriously, what does it take to get your license pulled? And him being framed? Self-important much?
Release...the KITTIES!
