Sheamus to appear on 'Conan' this Thursday, Aug. 11 on TBS
Just a few days removed from professional wrestling star Triple H appearing on "Late Night" with Jimmy Fallon, another WWE produced product will hit the late night airwaves.
This time it's Sheamus, who will guest star on "Conan" this Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011 at 11 p.m. ET on TBS.
"The Celtic Warrior" will appear alongside comedian and television actor Denis Leary. Among the topics up for discussion will be, of course, Summerslam this coming Sunday (Aug. 14) in which Sheamus is scheduled to take on Mark Henry, along with his startling similarities -- at least appearance wise -- to Conan O'Brien himself.
Should be fun, fella.
Remember to tune in late Thursday night. In the meantime, here's video we dug up of Sheamus appearing on "The Late Late Show" in Ireland earlier this year.

Notice his physique changes this year.
Not as intimidating, certainly.

I doubt it happens but hopefully they have Christian beat Orton, & then have a Christian/Sheamus feud

Sheamus is actually super likeable
He’s being pushed as a quasi-face right now against Mark Henry, and I think the WWE would do well to make him the face of SmackDown with Orton, Christian, and others.
He needs to be what Orton couldn't be
Orton is pretty much a full on face who occasionally heels it up with some of his matches. Sheamus needs to still be his usual arrogant, asshole self and not pander to the crowd. He just needs to not trash the fans in attendance like he used to and he’ll still get cheered without losing his edge.
"In fact, most of these free-swinging Padres couldn’t hit Dock’s funky palm ball. I threw it often. But by then, also, the first acid distractions entered: the TV flickered; the cracks in the wall started to move; the hand soap started to breathe — those sorts of things. Plus I was drawn to the outdoor garden between innings. Rain was near, I sensed." - A.J. Daulerio
