New World Order of Cageside Seats: Management changes and site notes

Hey everyone, just wanted to give a quick update on some changes that are coming to Cageside Seats.
I, Geno Mrosko, will be taking over as Manager and running the site on a day-to-day basis. This means David Bixenspan will no longer be around but I promise a renewed vigor to make Cageside a fresh place to visit (and we hope you make it a daily stop).
Coverage will remain largely the same. Mixed martial arts (MMA) will take a bit of a back seat in favor of more pro wrestling coverage, though, as there are already a couple other big sites on SB Nation to get your MMA fix, like MMA Mania (my other home), MMA Nation and Bloody Elbow.
But we'll still chime in with a thought or two on some of the big stories in the fight game.
Things will largely remain the same, so don't brace for a major impact or anything, but we hope to continue to provide you with insightful commentary on WWE, TNA and beyond. Hopefully, we can update you more often, as well.
There will be some staff changes, but I promise we'll come out just as good on the other side.

I'd like to see more news
Listen I love the commentary around here and it’s one of the things that brings me to this site but I’d also love to see it become like BloodyElbow, BadLeftHook, or MMAMania(although Mania doesnt do much commentary) where I can also find out what’s going on.
I’m not trying to take shots at David or anybody else on this site but alot of times news on here doesnt get reported until someone writes a commentary piece on it. Like DH Smith and Chris Masters were also released today.But if you put in the work here like you do over at Mania, Geno, I expect that we will be seeing a lot more news which I look forward too.
I’m in the UK, so with the time difference it often doesn’t make it conducive to reporting things in a timely manner. Also, this is a just a hobby of mine, I’ve got a full time job and other commitments. I think that’s the same deal with the other contributors to this site, which is why we’ve specialised on commentary in the past rather than breaking news as soon as it becomes available.

I have plenty of thoughts to send you away with… If I know the new guy wouldn’t ban me for having a difference of opinion.. I would air them. I will say.. good riddance. That said.. I look forward to reading reports and opinions from someone w/o a glass jaw. I’m sure they will be quite good & unbiased.

I am eagerly awaiting the new things CSS has to offer in the future. More Pro Wrestling, less MMA is a good thing.

I'm liking the site so far.
Nice commentary on events and a bit of news. A BloodyElbow of pro wrestling is a decent goal. I don’t know enough of this site to judge whether that goal is achievable.
