Gail Kim Claims She Has Quit WWE, Melina Gone Too

Who didn't see this coming? So, on her official twitter Gail posted:

Hey I just wanted every1 to know that I officially quit WWE on monday. So thank u wwe fans! This won't be the last u see of me. Love u guys :)

Considering what we have reported about Gail, something like this seemed inevitable. Dave Meltzer said, when talking about her admission that she had eliminated herself as a protest for being told to get out of the ring early, "she's toast" and he would be "shocked if she were still around in three weeks." Well, it's seems Gail decided, "You can't fire me, I quit." Of course, as one reader suggested, this could just be a work-shoot angle, although as I noted about Gail's self-elimination on Raw last week, it makes little sense. I fail to see any real pay off in an angle where Gail threatens to quit because she is being under-used. I don't know why WWE would want to something like that (yes, they did something similar with Punk, but he's a main eventer and got a ton of screen time; Gail hasn't had any.)

So what's next for Gail? Will she retire? Go back to TNA (and, hey, who wouldn't want to go back to that bottomless bit of misery and dispair?)  We can speculate, but my guess is she's done and will likely focus on her upcoming marriage to celebrity chef Robert Irvine. 

WWE have also noted on their site has also noted that troubled diva Melina Perez is also gone, which should also come as no shock whatsever.
