Bio-toddgrisham

WWE broadcaster, announcer and multiple show host Todd Grisham has left the company for a gig at ESPN, as confirmed by William Regal on his Twitter:

"I would like to thank @todd_grisham for all his help get me through NXT.Best wishes for your new career at ESPN."

For his part, Grisham went the philosophical route:

"'Celebrate endings for they precede new beginnings.' — Jonathan Lockwood Huie."

This marks the second member of the WWE team to jump ship to ESPN after Jonathan Coachman did the same in 2009.

What is interesting

is ESPN now looks for anchors that can entertain as well as call the highlights so WWE would be a place to recruit those particular skills. It is possible that some of the better, young talent with ESPN aspirations, will look to work for WWE as a stepping stone. It’s so funny how Jonathan Coachman is still using ‘Coach’ on ESPN.

Coachman has the most annoying voice in the history of time.

Grisham is a close second. Just another reason to not watch ESPN.

Forget it Donny, you're out of your element.

Last I checked...

Best Buy had the entire series on Blu-ray for like $80. So any Cagesiders who wanna thank me for all the work I’ve done…

Grisham was a bit too stale for the WWE, so he'll probably be perfect for ESPN

Best of luck in your future endeavors Grisham.

"In fact, most of these free-swinging Padres couldn’t hit Dock’s funky palm ball. I threw it often. But by then, also, the first acid distractions entered: the TV flickered; the cracks in the wall started to move; the hand soap started to breathe — those sorts of things. Plus I was drawn to the outdoor garden between innings. Rain was near, I sensed." - A.J. Daulerio

You guys may forget or not know

But Grisham is a legitimate sports presenter. He did the pregame for Fox Soccer’s MLS game of the week for years, and He’s also the second talent from Fox Soccer in as many years, Max Bretos was the first.
