Jeff Hardy returns to TNA on Thursday in Huntsville, Alabama
WCW TNA is once again exercising horrific judgement by making the decision to bring back embattled former champion Jeff Hardy. The "Charismatic Enigma" tweeted the following:
"Ok it's official...time to go back2work!I will be in Huntsville,AL this Thursday with ImpactWrestling!!!!"
This just days removed from his brother, Matt, getting arrested and subsequently fired by the company for driving while intoxicated. He's since gone on insane rants on his YouTube channel, teasing a return to WWE before thinking better of it and deleting most of his comments.
Reports had previously surfaced that noted TNA has plans for Hardy from a promotional standpoint, so he's not as disposable as his brother, who had done next to nothing since joining the company earlier this year.
However, Impact Wrestling's ratings have been just fine without him and pay-per-view buyrates aren't just going to magically recover once he's back in the fold. Add another poor decision in the long line of managerial problems in TNA. Jeff Hardy is back. Does anyone care? Anyone?

In Vino Veritas?
This is insane on so many levels that I can’t even begin to think about what TNA chief thought this was the right move to make. This man is responsible for ruining a PPV. What is worse is that Meltzer says Jeff Hardy’s substance issues are much worse than Matt Hardy. Plug in the fact that Jeff has yet to demonstrate any change in behavior over a prolonged period of time, makes this the most desperate and questionable move in a long time.

If it was just wine, maybe the poor guy wouldn't have so many problems.
I think Jeff is happy being a user and honestly, it’s his choice. It’s also TNA’s choice to have him in there putting other workers in danger and stumbling around on television – and of course, it’s an awful choice, but does TNA make any other type of choice?
Clearly this is a panic move on several levels. They desperately want to make their road tapings of Impact work, so I wouldn’t be surprised if this was in the works for a while to artificially boost ratings and make this experiment seemingly work to keep Spike TV happy and paying the extra cost of taping outside of Orlando. But I also wouldn’t be surprised if Matt’s tease of going back to WWE spooked them that he’d take Jeff with him.

Keith
It was bad enough that I have to worry about Kurt Angle in TNA now I have to worry about Jeff Hardy too. I’m afraid for him and the fact that they are going on the road this fall makes me even more uneasy about it.

Jeff's starting to look a lot older than 33 now
Poor guy. If it’s drug addiction. Weak-minded asshole if he’s intentionally fucking his career up. Can we wrestler-bash here?
He's 33?
Wow. Looks like he’s in his late 30s.

This post just made me miss WCW, actually.
At least when they did stupid stuff like this, it turned into morbidly entertaining television at worst. TNA is just unwatchable.
Oh Dear Christ
Hardy? He’s not in jail yet? Or mandatory rehab? Seriously?
As someone who actually TRIES to make sense of TNA storylines (pray for my sanity, please), I have absolutely no idea how he would fit in with TNA. They can’t let him languish on Xplosion because he’s too well-known of a name, even if it is due to his drug addiction moreso than his wrestling ability. They can’t bring him back to Immortal because Hulk and Eric publicly excommunicated (for lack of a better word) the guy (granted, three month rule, but STILL). And they can’t just leave him to fend for himself, since he has so much history with Immortal as the uber-mega-super-duper heel.
I….I just…..I don’t have much of an ego, and mock myself whenever possible. I’ve only been watching wrestling regularly for about….a year, AT MOST. And I COULD BOOK BETTER THAN TNA!
Sorry for italics
something weird happened there.
He could use some angel blood, I think

Has he done his rehab?
Or was that just a suggestion and not really mandatory…
My fellow Americans, I have not been entirely truthful with you. I did gagoogidy that girl. I gashmoygadied her gaflavity with my googus. And I am sorry.
His drug case is still ongoing and he hasn’t been sentenced yet. Rehab is one possible punishment option, one which Jeff clearly wants to avoid like the plague. Which makes TNA bringing him back now even sillier.

TNA wanted them both to go to rehab before they could come back
Both declined.
Maybe Matt saved some angel blood for Jeff, who knows.
