Tommy Rich, who turned heel after ball-bashing Bill Dundee in the Continental Wrestling Association (CWA) on August 23, 1980, in Memphis, Tennesee, blows his stack in the post-match interview and goes after Jerry Lawler, putting the defenseless "King" on his royal keister, on this date in CWA history.
