WWE Smackdown ratings for Aug. 19 show in Bakersfield
The ratings are in for this past Friday night's (Aug. 19, 2011) episode of WWE Smackdown, which emanated from Bakersfield, California.
PWTorch has the numbers:
WWE Smackdown on Friday, August 19 scored a 1.83 rating, up slightly compared to the previous two weeks, and below a 1.99 rating on July 29 for Triple H's first appearance as COO.
Smackdown increased ten percent in average viewers, though, compared to last week. Friday's show averaged 2.92 million viewers, which was the most in nearly four months dating back to April 29 for the Smackdown episode following the Draft.
Friday's episode featured one of the best matches of the year between Alberto Del Rio and Daniel Bryan for the WWE championship and Mark Henry winning a 20-man battle royal to become the new number one contender to Randy Orton's world heavyweight title.
