On this date in WWE history: MVP gets KTFO by Evander Holyfield

If you're going to job on Saturday Night's Main Event, it might as well be to five-time heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield.

The "Real Deal" was a late substitute for the ailing Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP), who was working a program as United States Champion against Matt Hardy, one that featured non-wrestling challenges such as basketball, arm-wrestling and chess.

And a few rounds in the "sweet science," on this date in WWE history.

As expected, Hardy got lit up by the aging pugilist, who refused to finish off the wobbly "Angelic Diablo" after working him over back on August 18, 2007.

MVP stormed the ring in disapproval, screamed in Holyfield's face and got knocked the bleep out for his efforts.

Good times.
