CM Punk Returns

Rey Mysterio wins the belt and loses it to Cena. Dolph Ziggler looked good tonight also. Also Zack Ryder had a match and JR is back. All of that became the back story when Punk walked out to new music. So, what was your favorite part of Raw tonight?

I have to side with Punk’s return, but the main event was great, and Cena did a great job working with Rey. More of this kind of action when Cena is in the ring, please.

I so wanted to vote for Zack

But the look on Cena’s face was priceless when punk came out.

Agreed

I think Zack would win hands down if Punk didn’t return

I’m going to take my CM Punk fan boy goggles off for this one. As awesome as it was for the surprise return (they needed SOMETHING to happen, and I’ll take this over the obvious MITB cash in) and the stare down with Cena…Punk didn’t get to talk. I wanted to hear what he had to say, because I know he’s got so much to work with now, he’ll absolutely rock the mic.

John Cena has been the target of a LOT of hate due to his in ring performances. He’s coasted a bunch. Since I started watching again this year, at least 75% of his matches felt eerily similar. Now, he’s 2/2 for awesome matches. His match with Rey was exciting, unpredictable, and satisfying. I’ve got to give it to them.

Really, the whole show was just great. Even if you didn’t like one part, there was 2 more things you did like besides that. I thought the entire show delivered. Very entertaining.

Honestly, he shouldn't have had the match to begin with

It wasn’t the worst, and it set up Punk coming back, but enough with Cena always being champion. Rey being champ was pointless- might as well have had Cena was in tournament, and get there “legitimately”.

I liked every bit of the show. It was entertaining as heck. Just didn’t really like Rey losing so quickly but I guess it’s all part of the Cena / Punk angle. Also, the champ vs fake champ angle is so awesome. Lol

It seemed like last week everyone wanted Punk to stay away for awhile. I agreed with that. I thought that by having him off TV for a month or so, it would help build the demand. Especially if they continued doing the social media things they have done for the past week. However, it seems like the have reacted to a disappointing rating from last week. So I was not happy about seeing Punk return so quick. I do think the Rey/Cena match was tremendous even thought we do have the hot potato title thing going.
