Scott Hall update: Ex-wife deletes Twitter account as he deteriorates
Scott Hall and his ex-wife Dana are once again the subjects of Mike Mooneyham's weekly wrestling column in the Charleston Post & Courier. The column had featured an interview with and open letter to independent promoters from Dana two weeks ago. It's not pretty, but well worth reading, painting a more detailed picture of how far gone he is to the point that Dana is coming terms with his impending death.
Recently, after a strange phone call from Scott, Dana called 911 and asked for the paramedics to meet her at Scott's home. When she arrived, she saw him resisting the EMTs while being about as embarrassing as he could possibly be, even doing the NWO/DX "crotch chop" taunt at them. He ended up spitting in her face and threatening to hit her, so she got fed up and decided to never see him again.
She and Scott's best friend Kevin Nash have contacted WWE's Ann Russo-Gordon about getting Scott into rehab again, but she's worried that the number of facilities that can deal with the depth of his addictions, his underlying mental illness, and his heart problems. Dana has considered planning a staged intervention to get him into rehab, which sports psychologist Dr. John Murray says is a possible "last resort" that would "need to be extremely carefully planned and executed" but "might be the best hope for him at this stage."
Dana Hall feels that she can't fight the battle herself anymore, and while it's not mentioned in the article, it looks like she has deleted the Twitter account she was using to try to rally help for the father of her children. There are plenty of more details in Mooneyham's article, including how they met and how far back Scott's substance abuse problems go among other things, as well as plenty of direct quotes from Dana. I suggest that everyone go read it as soon as they can.

I hope we get to see this on A&E soon.
He can start off on “Intervention”, then head to VH1 for a stint in “Celebrity Rehab” followed by “Sober House.” And then when he inevitably falls off the wagon hard as hell, it’s back to A&E for their new hit show “Relapse.” Maybe Steven Seagal and stop by and arrest him a few times too for the hell of it.

not a good time to be joking
I really hope Scott can turn it around and not become another notch on wrestlings “early death”-post.

OD already.
For the sake of your family and friends who you have broken down for so many decades. There is no hope, left, in your case. You’ve made your bed, and put the only ones who care about you through hell and back, all to no avail. You’ve made your bed for the past 20+ years. Time to lye down and die in it.
