The Ultimate Fighter: Team Lesnar vs. Team Dos Santos Premiere Live Discussion
Tonight, at 9 pm ET on Spike TV, The Ultimate Fighter season 13 premieres. This season of the long running UFC reality show will feature former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar coaching a team of up and coming welterweight fighters against heavyweight contender, Junior dos Santos.
Brock Lesnar laid low following his devastating loss to Cain Velasquez, where it took no more than a round for the challenger to effectively beat the title right out of Lesnar's hands. There was a great deal of speculation afterwards, that Lesnar was done, looking for a way out, and even being courted by WWE's Vince McMahon to take part in next months highly anticipated Wrestlemania. The MMA world was shocked to learn that rather than any of these rumors, Lesnar had chose to participate in The Ultimate Fighter, and spend months away from his home to coach young fighters on the reality show. Lesnar has been actively promoting his upcoming book release, which no doubt played a part in his decision to go on the show.
This isn't a one man show though. Junior dos Santos has been making waves in the UFC's heavyweight division for quite some time now, all beginning with his first round knock out of Fabricio Werdum. Since the victory over Werdum, who went on to become the first man to defeat Fedor Emelianenko, Dos Santos has beaten Gilbert Yvel, Mirko Filipovic, and Roy Nelson, all the while showing off his heavy handed and exciting style. This is a great opportunity for the Brazilian Dos Santos to present himself to fans who have yet to admire his personality and exciting fights, and what a greater way to do so than coach against the hated, loved, and all around popular Brock Lesnar.

Here we go folks. We’ll see if this premier can topple TUF 10, I’m not sure it will.

PREMIERE
With an E. “Premier” is not a noun. Well it is, but it means something completely different than “Premiere.”
Good catch, TY much.

I’m not particularly impressed either, but once you’ve seen one first episode of TUF, you’ve seen just about all of them.

Asrih is about to get plowed through. Bad match up for Team Lesnar, but such should be expected when Dos Santos sent in his number one to take on Lesnar’s last pick. I would have saved Bailey for a mid tier Lesnar fighter, but it’s hard to hate on taking the easy win when it presents itself.
This fight may not do the first episode any favors though, especially if Bailey plays it safe. Here’s hoping for a sub.
