X-Pac cancels appearance at Royal Rumble party in St. Louis

Photo

Well, gee, I wonder why?

Sean Waltman, more popularly known as X-Pac from his days wrestling with WWE, has cancelled his scheduled appearance at a Royal Rumble party in St. Louis on Jan. 28. From MyWrestlingParty.com:

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Sean "X-Pac" Waltman will no longer be hosting the Royal Rumble pre-party on Saturday night, January 28th, 2012 in St. Louis. However, he will now be joining Billy Gunn to host the after-party at the Tigin Irish Pub immediately following the Rumble event on Sunday. Unfortunately, "Hurricane" Shane Helms will NOT be at the event either. If you have purchased tickets to the Saturday night pre-party, they can be transferred to the after-party at no charge and you'll receive the same perks. The only difference is that Billy Gunn will replace Shane Helms in the line-up. Tickets are still on sale and there are very few VIP tickets left, so get yours quickly!

"Unforseen circumstances," huh? That certainly sounds interesting. He won't appear at any time before the Rumble but he'll be partying it up AFTER the Rumble is finished.

This could mean absolutely nothing. But it could also mean that two + two = four. We knew it was possible X-Pac could be one of the annual surprise entrants in the Royal Rumble this year and this only supports that idea. Things can always change between now and then but we're on track for it.

Anyone looking forward to seeing what kind of nostalgia pop he'll get?

UPDATE: Looks like there is a reason this happened and it has nothing to do with a surprise entrance in the Rumble. Waltman was arrested this past Wednesday for multiple drug charges. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Shane Helms’ sponsor told him to stand back. And I’d say X-Pac actually getting work is a reasonably unforeseen circumstance. After the sadly awful reaction Road Dogg got all I can wonder is ignorance of X-Pac heat still X-Pac heat?

Doesn't the Pac have Hep-C?

He should NOT be allowed to wrestle.

You have been banned from Bloody Elbow.
I don’t know what you said, but I don’t like you.

I think WWe should go back to their blood.. that would kill any lawsuits like Devin’s or any future ones. Like maybe Nigel McGuiness. Who, I think.. would had done 100x better than Waltman.. and maybe somewhat better than Daniel Bryan. And I like Bryan..

Interesting

Waltman could say hi to Michael Cole, who is now the best example of the term “X-Pac heat.”

I’ve got your answer right here.

I might have to bring some eggs with me to the Rumble if I go. I’d all ready be sneaking in some liquor.

I don't know if he might be an entrant

He’s said he’s kept away because he doesn’t know if he’s still all there in the head, to handle wrestling. A quick in-and-out entry in the Royal Rumble isn’t the grueling travel schedule, but, still…

We shall see, I guess.

Yea why not?

Pac must look at guys like Bryan, Ryder, Punk (to an extent) and think what could have been?

If there was a time where he could make a return I think it’s now more than ever, and I’ve never really been a fan.

Yea, he might think that.. but actually all he was good for was running around like a dolt with his tongue out & chopping his crotch up like he’s Michael Jackson.

SD tonight..

They actually have twitter pop ups like this is live & they are trending. Hahaha…

I still laugh at Big Show’s new “slimming” dress trunks.

And Mark Henry was great on the mic… “yea, I saw it.. all the millions behind the camera, they saw it… all 45seconds of it.” hahaha

Raw in Chi- town.. should be fun.

But he's still...

Advertised as being part of the post-Rumble festivities?

Either way, can’t say I’m not bummed out about the arrest. He seemed to be getting back on the straight and narrow.
