Video: Masked Kane returns on Raw and attacks John Cena

In case you missed it on WWE Monday Night Raw last night (Dec. 12, 2011) -- or just want to see it again -- here's the video of Kane making his return in a brand spankin' new mask.

If you want to skip ahead to when Kane comes out, jump to the 2:40 mark of the video.

I really liked the idea of using the first mask to tease whether or not Kane was actually back behind his old mask. Which he's not, technically, but that's only because they had to create the mask in the manner they did to hold the wig up properly while he works.

I'm still in mark out mode but it's hard not to feel a little excited about this particular reincarnation of Kane.

Agree or disagree?

It's Kane!

So I went to bed just before this match figuring nothing would happen. Shit.

Lol to Mark Henry doing the world’s greatest slam, going for a pin, then quickly realizing he’s suppose to just lay there for Kane to come out. Secondly F that crowd, Kane should have received a bigger pop than that.

Glad he’s back, not really sure why he went back to the mask, but hopefully he returns to not speaking and just destroying. We’re in a PG WWE Universe now, so no handcuffing people to ring posts and shocking them Kane…

Please never bring up that Shane McMahon feud again.

The costume's a bit lacking

They just don’t seem to put the detail into attire as much as they used to.
The actual mask makes sense, means the guy can breather properly for once and see things peripherally.

Clearly still a wig built into the mask though.

I see what you mean about the costume.

I didn’t notice it last night but yeah, the definitely went minimal with it. But the mask takes the main focus so it’s not too bad.

And rumor online is that it’s real hair. He’s supposedly been growing it out for awhile now. If it is a wig it’s a pretty damn good one.

Hmm…Considering he’s been off TV for about 6 months…How long would you estimate it takes to grow your hair out that long? Its a wig, friend.

I could do it

Maybe not to that length, but pretty damn long. It could be mostly him and then extensions. Yeah, it’s most likely a wig. But it being at least some natural hair is in the realm of possibility.

He needs to have some few hair in there to make it work...

The wig is built in with the mask, but also connected to his own hair. Otherwise, it would look really bad when he does his moves.

Kane's return was very well done

I wonder how WWE is going to use him. Will he be the jobber to the stars like he was for a long time, or will they give him a decent push? I would say other than Big Show, Kane is one of the best big men in wrestling.

I’m thinking decent push heading into Royal Rumble but he’ll be back to jobber to the stars by WM. Also, Kane is far better than the Big Show.

Why did kane do the chokeslam with his left hand?

My call is that its not the same person.
