Last night, Im walking upstairs to my buddy’s apartment, having a conversation about our glory days of wrestling, and who was big at the time – Stone Cold, The Rock, Undertaker.. and Benoit’s name came up. My friend did not know what had happened with The Crippler. So, as were talking, this chick behind us on the stairs interjects, and asks, “Why are yall talking about that?” I was kind of taken aback, so I told her we were talking about old wrestlers, but she persisted on why we would talk about Chris, and asked if I had heard anything about it recently. I told her no, but that I had read an article the other day about a movie being made about him. Thats when she proceeded to tell me who she was – Sarah Coulter. The chick who is now in charge of writing the story. She was very hesitant to give any details, but did go into how she wasnt a wrestling fan during the Attitude Era ( says she had Hulkamania as child, though) and how she has become engulfed in the story while working on the project. Said she wishes Eddie Guerrero had never died, and kind of implied that his death had a lot to do with Chris going over the edge. It was crazy. You never know what the person you pass on the street is working on in their life, and how it might relate to yours.
