Video: 'Inside ROH' allows fans to keep up with Ring of Honor's product

via gds.gfl.tv

A point of contention some wrestling fans have with Ring of Honor (ROH) -- and most indie feds in general -- is its inaccessibility. Unlike the WWE or TNA, you can't tune in each and every week to USA or Spike to catch the action. And ordering a big show is just about impossible unless the promotion is hooked up with Go Fight Live since ordering a pay-per-view (PPV) isn't as easy as pressing a few buttons on a remote.

So that's what separates CHIKARA from the rest of the pack. With their weekly Podcast-A-Go-Go videos, they help keep fans abreast of all the latest developments in the company. And ROH is quickly learning they must do the same.

Their TV deal is good but not great. It's nowhere near nationwide and a majority of fans who want to watch it have to do so on their website several days after the fact. They've been releasing "news wires" and "video wires" for several years but it looks like they will now be releasing the "Inside ROH" segment from their weekly program.

The segment is exactly what ROH needs: a quick, easily digested primer on the feuds that are going on while also hyping any upcoming events like the Dec. 23 Final Battle 2011 show which you can order on internet pay-per-view (iPPV) here.

Presented are the segments from the first nine episodes of ROH TV which will provide more than enough backstory to the storylines going into their big year-ending show.

Have a look see.
