TNA Turning Point 2011 match card updated after Nov. 3 episode of Impact

Photo

TNA Turning Point takes place this coming Nov. 13, 2011, from the Impact Wrestling Zone in Orlando, Florida.

This will mark the first pay-per-view event held with a heel Bobby Roode as the heavyweight champion. His turn was rushed and his feud with James Storm wasn't given nearly enough time to build but at least it shows great promise.

But is Storm the man he'll be squaring off against at the show?

The booking in TNA has been uncharacteristically strong, even better than Raw as of late. That's why it's somewhat disappointing how they've gone about writing the main event scene since losing Kurt Angle to a hamstring injury just last week.

Still, it's an exciting time when two originals, as it were, are in the main program and aren't competing with dinosaurs like Hulk Hogan for screen time ... at least not yet.

After the jump is the updated match card after the Nov. 3 episode of Impact. Fair warning -- a spoiler is included from the show that will air next Thursday (Nov. 10) regarding who Roode's opponent will be at the pay-per-view.

Star-divide

-- Jeff Hardy vs. Jeff Jarrett
-- Crimson vs. Matt Morgan
-- Rob Van Dam vs. Christopher Daniels in a no disqualification match
-- Velvet Sky vs. Gail Kim for the TNA Knockout's title
-- Mexican America and Sarita vs. Ink Inc. and Toxxin for the TNA tag team titles
-- Bobby Roode vs. A.J. Styles for the TNA heavyweight title

How's that card looking to you, Cagesiders? Worth your money?

I wonder if TNA has thought about marketing Jeff in a way where he doesn’t look like a drug addict?

Aren’t there truth in advertising laws though?

I wonder if TNA has thought marketing someone besides the pillhead?

Are they implying his match is somehow more important than the World title match?

To be fair...

How far out are posters done and how far out is the booking planned? Money in the Bank had Hornswaggle and Big Show on the poster when CM Punk was pretty much the only reason anyone tuned in.

I'm 90% sure TNA will have the Jeff Hardy match close the show here.

Throughout their entire existence, they’ve given me little reason to care about their product, and even less of a reason to hope things will get better. Why should now be any different?
