Sin Cara's injury: Analyzing if it's real (it is) and how it happened
I recently made a post talking about how Sin Cara's knee injury at WWE Survivor Series this past Sunday night (Nov. 20) felt like another fake injury angle, but I recently found this picture on the Internet where it shows, frame by frame, exactly how it all happened.
As you can see on the image, the leg looks screwed up immediately after he jumps.
And then he grabs the rope again to avoid a heavier fall.
So, it pretty much seems the whole thing was, in fact, legit, and it also doesn't require a lot of attention to realize that the whole thing wasn't a botch, the injury wasn't because of the dive, but because of the jump.
And as a side note, Sin Cara's real life brother, Argos, posted on his Facebook that his brother was in surgery.
This isn't exactly surprising, considering the style of the luchadors. High risk, high reward. There's a reason guys like Rey Mysterio have had so many knee surgeries.
That said, the best of luck for Sin Cara on his surgery and recovery.

I thought it may have been fake since they diagnosed it so quick.

one tendon on the knee (cant remember the name) poped off, and after those pictures, i do believe it lol
Also it looks like Huncio is trying to catch him
I think he knew something bad was getting ready to happen

yeah, seems like
hunico tried to catch him before selling it, but Cara managed to get a hold of the rope and avoid the fall
You could tell somethin went down
because every single one of those guys in the match were in total improv mode for a good 5-8 minutes after that fall. theres no way that there would have been NO action for that long for a fake injury. And you saw the X go up..that was a red flag too lol
Maybe it’s karma. Should have stuck with your regular colors instead of going with the obviously MÃstico inspired scheme.

He also wore the white colors in his injury angle/suspension at Money in the Bank. Sin Cara should throw that white gear in the trash. Bad luck.

yeah, his luck
has been the worst lately, this guy went from being the superstar main eventer in Mexico to being the blacksheep of the WWE, i get nervous everytime he walks out to the ring to have a match because something bad is probably gonna happen lol
Kevin Nash vs. Sin Cara
It’s gonna be good, you guys!
