Sin Cara's injury: Analyzing if it's real (it is) and how it happened

I recently made a post talking about how Sin Cara's knee injury at WWE Survivor Series this past Sunday night (Nov. 20) felt like another fake injury angle, but I recently found this picture on the Internet where it shows, frame by frame, exactly how it all happened.

As you can see on the image, the leg looks screwed up immediately after he jumps.

And then he grabs the rope again to avoid a heavier fall.

So, it pretty much seems the whole thing was, in fact, legit, and it also doesn't require a lot of attention to realize that the whole thing wasn't a botch, the injury wasn't because of the dive, but because of the jump.

And as a side note, Sin Cara's real life brother, Argos, posted on his Facebook that his brother was in surgery.

This isn't exactly surprising, considering the style of the luchadors. High risk, high reward. There's a reason guys like Rey Mysterio have had so many knee surgeries.

That said, the best of luck for Sin Cara on his surgery and recovery.
