On this date in WCW history: Vader wins the 16-man 'Battlebowl'
On November 20, 1993, Big Van Vader is the last man standing in a 16-man battle royal featuring Cactus Jack, Johnny B. Badd, Brian Knobbs, Paul Orndorff, The Shockmaster, Dustin Rhodes, King Kong, Sting, Jerry Sags, Ric Flair, Steve Austin, Rick Rude, Shanghai Pierce, Road Warrior Hawk and Rip Rogers, who were all selected in a "lethal lottery."
I've included the final four (above) from the main event "Battlebowl" because it had four great stars and plenty of quality action. At the time, the finish drew a lot of heat from the smarks, but I personally loved it.
Take a look at let me know if we're in agreement.

Nothing particularly wrong with the finish but......
The event as a whole was god awful. Maybe even worse than Fall Brawl the previous month.
Vaderw as one of the best big men ever
It’s a mighty shame that the WWE fubar’d his career as they could have made a lot of money off of a Vader-Austin feud.

Look at the greats in that match. And if I hear Cena with another Godd-mn Shockmaster reference like he’s some sort of insider, I’m gonna pull a DC sniper on him.
