WWE releases Diva Maryse

According to its website, WWE Diva Maryse has been given the dreaded future endeavored treatment:
WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Raw Diva Maryse as of today, October 28, 2011. WWE wishes Maryse the best in all of her future endeavors.
Color me surprised. I wasn't aware there were any Diva's left on the WWE roster that didn't include the big four -- Beth Phoenix, Natalya, Eve and Kelly Kelly.
Kidding aside, Maryse became a mainstay on NXT before suffering an injury late in the summer that required surgery for an abdominal hernia, which she underwent on Aug. 24. She had announced just two weeks ago that she would be back in action soon.
If so, it won't be in WWE.

Maryse and Gail Kim are both gone. The women wrestlers are absolutely irrelevant now. Natalya is alright, and I think Alicia Fox is a little cute, but neither are on the level Maryse and Kim were on.

Good news!
She’s already been there and done that! Cheers for Maryse! She had natural charisma, eye-catching body language and attention seeking ring mannerisms. She was one of WWE’s best in the barbie model divas category.

Maryse butchered the English language worse than Pat Patterson. Not to mention her last feud was with Hornswoggle.
Was she better than Kelly? Yeah. But not better than Nattie Neidhart. Youtube some of her Japanese matches, then compare them with Maryse’s body of work from Jap- Oh, wait…

I really liked Maryse.

She had a great theme song. Looks like the wwe is moving towards a 4 diva division. Now the only question is who switches sides first. Does Eve Go Heel, Natayla Go Face, or Does Kelly Kelly try and go heel and fail miserably.

But they normally use the wrestlers full name. I’m just wondering if they are going to use this to add her to Awesome Truth. Give Miz something to bitch about for a week or two, though I dunno which Diva would be her opposite since the Divas of Doom are busy with Eve and K2.
