Kevin Nash returns at WWE Vengeance to attack Triple H

Photo via WWE.com

No, this is not 2003 (even if it seems like it).

Kevin Nash made his big return to WWE at tonight's (Oct. 23) Vengeance pay-per-view at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas, once again walking through the crowd to make a sneak attack.

But this time he targeted Triple H instead of CM Punk.

In fact, after getting pinned by The Miz to end their tag team match, Punk was nowhere to be found and wasn't heard from again until a simple tweet:

"Fake tanner is for pussies."

Indeed, sir.

After he rolled out of the ring to make way for Nash and Triple H, the two friends did their thing with "Big Sexy" drilling "The Game" with knees in the corner setting up his trademark jackknife powerbomb.

And so we're once again headed for a feud between the two buddies while someone is still presumably pulling the strings behind-the-scenes with Nash as the ringer.

Interested? Or did you have enough of this feud in 2003 like the rest of us?

Nash has been hitting the gym hard, hopefully he can put on a good match.

I just hope Punk doesn’t get sucked into this black hole and gets his real reign as WWE champion

Speaking of old and tired though, I remember when you were first introduced to run the site the post had a nWo inspired logo for the site, when is that going to be the official logo?

We've been working on a few things

but aren’t totally sure that the nWo inspired CSS logo will be practical. Definitely going to be making a change here soon, though.

I sporadically watch a few minutes of Raw, or read up here

Nash is back..again? Think if Hall wasn’t where he is, rather an out of date faded star still in shape and not on the hook of dope (Nash) that HE would be here Crucifix bombing H instead of Diesal?

I think if Hall wasn't in the shape he's in

Triple H would definitely bring him back. They’re all old friends and with Trips gaining more and more power, it’s not surprising to see him do things like this.

I'll admit, I didn't see that coming

During the match, I was wondering what was going to happen with Punk’s story, too. In effect, if they beat Miz and Truth, it would’ve been over- they completely ignored the “someone is trying to prevent me from becoming champion” thing when he lost to HHH, and especially when MIz and Truth attacked him at Hell in a Cell. With Nash coming back, even though he attacked HHH, at least that story is back in play. Presumably, Punk and HHH will team up to stop Laurenitis (presumably the guy pulling the strings), but it’s interesting that Punk bailed on HHH after the match. I hope they don’t play it off as Punk “not knowing” and leaving prematurely.

Nash vs HHH is a good thing

If Nash has to be back, it is best for him to tie up HHH’s time. Based on the comments I have read over the past month on here, nobody wants to see Nash or HHH. If WWE is set on Nash wrestling, doesn’t everyone prefer he is with HHH? We have already seen Nash and Punk on the mic. Not many people are interested in a match between Nash and Punk. Look at the bright side. We don’t have to relive Nash vs Punk on the mic and that leaves CM Punk free to hopefully do something interesting.

This.

If they’re hell-bent on keeping Nash around, doing it this way means I can take my second piss break (after the Divas of course) during the Nash/HHH stuff and neither of them will be dragging down Punk/ADR (I assume/hope) and Rock/Cena.

Tehehe

But yeah I don’t mind Nash and Triple H going at it. As long as it takes away time from HHH shitting on Punk.
