Gail Kim returns to TNA on Oct. 20 episode of Impact Wrestling (Video)

There are quite a few fans that are still displeased with Gail Kim and the way she handled herself during her time with WWE and, more specifically, the way she chose to end her run with the promotion.

After complaining incessantly on Twitter, she was booked weak and told to make sure she was eliminated from a Diva's battle royal on the Aug. 1 episode of Raw. Instead of maintaining kayfabe, she simply rolled out of the ring and walked to the back. Excuses were made and after more complaining on her Twitter account, she quit the company. It took a full month before WWE finally got rid of her profile off its website and actually acknowledged her departure.

In a recent interview (via The Sun), with the cuffs off and her filter gone, she continued to sound off on the state of women's wrestling within WWE:

"Every week the rules would change. I think we were in London for TV and David Hasselhoff was guest host of Raw. We had the match where we did the slo-mo entrance run. It was really funny. That day they brought us the ugliest one-piece bathing suits for the match. The seamstresses fixed it, but they were very PG and they said, 'We've got to cover you guys up'. No ass hanging out, basically! We did our rehearsal for the entrances and after that they had a discussion amongst the agents. One agent came up to us and said, 'It's not so flattering on the chest. Maybe you need to do something about that.' Basically they meant 'show more cleavage', so they are never really happy. It's one way one week and one way the other. When I signed with WWE I was really happy that they had the PG thing going on. I thought' 'Yes! No more bra and panties matches, no bikini contests.' With the success of the TNA Knockouts, that's when they started having their girls wrestle a lot more in WWE. I thought, 'This is a perfect time for me to come in. They care about women's wrestling'. Sadly it was just not the case. It pretty much went downhill after a few months and it's just disappointing to see."

Par for the course for WWE and it most definitely takes a certain type of individual to put up with that type of working environment, which Gail Kim obviously is not.

That said, as she noted, the Diva's division is a complete joke right now with four ladies in the "main event" passing the title around and trading matches at pay-per-views. The Diva's place is still well known within WWE -- show up, wear little clothing, look hot, have an occasional match to please certain groups and go home. That's about it.

On one hand, it's easy to see her side and feel a measure of sympathy but on the other, she definitely acted unprofessionally when dealing with her issues with the company. Either way, she's back with TNA and appears to immediately be jumping back into the title picture.

Easy come, easy go.

On last night's (Oct. 20, 2011) episode of Impact Wrestling, she made her return to little fanfare, which you can see after the jump.

Indeed.

What I don’t understand is how some people thinks she’s hot. It boggles my mind.

She wouldn’t be my top choice but she’s doable. You should see her after Kurt wins the title in Pittsburgh over Austin she doesn’t look good at all imo with short hair

Dumb move bringing Gail in as a heel.

They needed a star babyface and one that could go against Angle.

Have never really liked Gail Kim so don’t care that she’s back with TNA

She was being wasted in WWE so she goes to TNA for an angle with Velvet Sky. Kiiiiind of ironic.

it is

You leave one org for squandering your talents and then join another to supposedly job to face Sky and possibly be given the ODB and Jackie treatment of putting her over.

They could of angled the return of a star.

She was homegrown talent. Got a huge pop as well.

I'll admit, I'm surprised she went back

She really doesn’t have to wrestle anymore. I wonder if it’s a one-time thing, limited appearances, or full time.
