TUF Announcement Update: Brock Lesnar to Coach Against Junior dos Santos on The Ultimate Fighter
From UFC.com:
UFC President Dana White announced today that former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar and number one contender Junior dos Santos will match wits as the coaches of season 13 of the hit Spike TV reality series.
Following the season, which begins filming this month and begins airing on March 30, Lesnar and dos Santos will then match fists in the Octagon later in 2011.
Looks like Brock Lesnar isn't ducking top competition in the UFC, agreeing to meet heavy hitter Junior dos Santos. This is huge for the UFC, as they'll likely break records on Spike TV, and PPV. This is a huge match up, and it will certainly be interesting to see how Lesnar reacts to being so far from home for an extended period of time. That is, after he cashes the large check he'll be receiving for taking part of The Ultimate Fighter.
Update:
The link was pulled, but Dana White HAS announced on the UFC Fight for the Troops 2 conference call that Lesnar will be coaching against Junior dos Santos. Also, there will NOT be an interim title on the line, the winner of this fight will challenge Cain Velasquez when he is healthy.

I hate to be the one to do this, but check the link again

As I mentioned on Bloody Elbow, either someone jumped the gun, or the Webmaster is up to some mischievous shenanigans.
Also, does JDS speak English well enough to do a season of TUF?
I expected that would happen. Sounds like someone jumped the gun. JDS doesn’t need to speak English, subtitles and Brock Lesnar are all they need to make this work.

This is awesome.
Everyone that talked shit about Brock: enjoy your crow this evening.
Luke: What was our best moment?
Nate: When I banned Subo?
Luke: That was a good one.

He’s either got balls of steel, couldn’t refuse the pay check, or a scary mixture of both. I would be quite pleased if he ran right through JDS, that would be a huge “F you” to the masses that have been shitting on him. Then again, if JDS stops that first takedown, I’ll probably get ill during the fight…that and my wife will swear off MMA forever.

I can't see JDS stuffing takedowns
Velasquez was taken down once and JDS isn’t a D1 wrestling champion.
Also: Meltzer must be laughing his ass off. All the traffic he got probably paid for a new 3D TV for Xmas.
