Hulk Hogan announces that he's having "Hail Mary" back surgery today

Hogan made this announcement earlier today, whilst chatting with concerned fans, via his Twitter account HulkHogan4Real:

going for the make it or break it hail Mary.at4:00pm having an electrical spinal cord stimulator inserted for a test run,praying it works HH

@Kal_El3325 @MarocNews_Info had 6small back surgeries,everything was fine,then for 4hrs I was picking up shells on the beach,my back blewout

@tracimojomofo yes exactly,thank u so much,god has a plan for all of us there are no accidents,this is happening for a reason,I don't Totally understand why,but I do know it's happening to make me become the person I'm supposed to be,love u HH

Hopefully this latest surgery sorts out Hogan's serious back problems once and for good, but I must admit I'm highly sceptical that this "Hail Mary" procedure will work long term given that all his previous surgeries failed to fix his problems.  Unfortunately I expect this still won't be the last time Hogan sees the operating table for his bad back.
