Post Fight Interviews - The Rock, Sean Sherk, Matt Mitrione and Sean McCorkle Talk UFC 119

Oh, what could have been. The Rock in MMA would have been something else. Hopefully in the coming week Bix and myself will be doing a podcast with Ariel and we plan on giving him shit for marking out so hard for the Rock right here. Although I can't quite blame him.

After the jump are interviews with Meathead, who is rapidly growing on me, and Sean McCorkle, who has quite a bit of personality.

Great News about Ariel

I think Rock’s comment is going is piss off a faction of Observer subscribers who dont think MMA=Wrestling and WWE in general.

Thank you, Ariel, for getting us a People's Eyebrow sighting.

I would done the same thing. It’s healthy to let your inner mark out sometimes.

Awesome interview.

It’s interesting. I remember back in the day, WCW and to a degree WWE would look to former Football players to turn into wrestlers. We’re starting to see former Football players go to MMA instead now.

And how many of these former football players have successfully made the transition to MMA? Look it’s awesome that the likes of Steve Austin and The Rock love the sport of MMA, but they’re really deluding themselves if they think they could have made it in UFC as major headliners like they did in professional wrestling. It’s also worth noting that Brock Lesnar was not the last person The Rock wanted to wrestle, but it’s a good line for the MMA audience he’s trying to court for his latest film.

Yeah, I thought it was funny that Rock tried to pull that line. Wrestling fans know he’s full of shit but there are plenty of MMA fans who might not.

Forget it Donny, you're out of your element.
