It was a short fight but it was sweet. They opened with a jab by Dollaway before he threw a leg kick. Doerksen caught it and tried a cut kick to get him to the ground. They went to the mat and after a scramble Dollaway locked in a guillotine choke. It wasn't in tight enough to get the submission and Doerksen did well to keep his composure. Dollaway scrambled after letting it go and sunk in another guillotine, this time without the arm in. After they rolled like 4 times, Doerksen tapped to give Dollaway the win. A very impressive performance from the Middleweight.
Not a bad couple of fights on the Spike broadcast. They also showed the Sean McCorkle-Mark Hunt fight. McCorkle, amazingly enough, submitted Hunt from guard with a kimura. That's one hell of a debut for the UG star and nothing memorable from Mark Hunt. Nostalgia be damned. That also showed Thiago Tavares submitting Pat Audinwood. Great Spike broadcast leading into the PPV. Hopefully that leads to a few more PPV buys.
