Nelson took an absurd amount of punishment but after a near-miss in the first round, he was never in much trouble. Still, Dos Santos dominated him for the unanimous decision off one 30-26 card and two 30-27 cards. Dos Santos is now next in line for a Heavyweight Title shot and will face the winner of Brock Lesnar vs Cain Velasquez.
After the fight, Randy Couture was interviewed about the James Toney fight and was all respectful and whatnot.
