WWE unifying all major titles?

Creative plans as of Monday night was for WWE to unify all of its championships within the next year. There would be one World Championship, one Tag Team Championship, the Intercontinental Championship, and one Women's title. It is said that a WWE/World Title Unification Match will take place at next year's WrestleMania.

It will be interesting to see if they do go through with this if wrestlers start working both Raw and Smackdown again. Also what happens to the up and comers? I know people are already mad that some guys aren't getting pushed like John Morrison if they start woking both shows again he might not be main eventing for a while.

In full favor of this! This is a good move and probably happening because of Smackdown’s move to SyFy. The key will be only having the champion appear on both shows. It would be cool to have a week where Cena is on Smackdown and not RAW and vice versa for mid card Smackdown talent that need exposure on the company’s flagship show.

I'm a mark for the World Heavyweight Championship

I hope they don’t get rid of that and just keep the stupid spinner belt. That would be a serious crime to professional wrestling.

If they had great writers/bookers I’d be against this. But since they don’t have great writers/bookers and they don’t know how to make the IC/US titles mean something I guess they might as well unify them.

That being said, I’ve always felt they needed a TV title so folks like Evan Bourne and Dashing Cody Rhodes have something to fight over.

Since Cena is the top guy they will probably keep the spinner belt even though it doesn’t spin anymore. I’ve read that a lot of people don’t want it around anymore mainly HHH but since it sells so well is the reason why they’ve kept it.

I'm all for it.

I support a weakening of the “brand exclusivity” in general.
