According to Dana White and via MMA Weekly, Fedor Emelianenko will appear on season 2 of Best of Pride, which debuts later this year.
"Season 2 homie, Best of Pride, Fedor is on it," White said during a Q&A session with fans during the UFC Fan Expo in Boston.
This means we'll get to see his epic battles with Nogueira and Mirko Cro Cop. I can see the reason they didn't put him on the first season, fear of promoting a fighter that is employed by their competitor, but I'm glad they've made this decision. They are too many great Fedor fights from PRIDE to skip out on.

Has PRIDE re-runs actually gotten anyone over or has resulted in a fighter being rediscovered? Personally I see little if any chatter about the Best of PRIDE show online.
I think it's more about getting the sport out there in front of more eyeballs.
If the ratings are strong, MMA controls a higher market share of the entertainment wedge in people’s day. On the face of it, that doesn’t seem like a big deal. But when you consider that each person only has XXX minutes per week to devote X to entertainment on TV, it only bolsters the sport’s position in the public consciousness.
And really, there were some amazing fights in old PRIDE stuff. Water cooler discussions are inevitable, I would think.
