PWInsider is reporting that Samoa Joe has been suspended by TNA for up to a month. Reportedly it's due to his poor attitude in the back and his inability to get in better shape.

Commenter Beer Monster adds - Other sites are reporting that it has to do with the finish of his match with Jeff Hardy a few weeks ago. He asked that the announcer not give the time remaining over the PA, which would give away that it was going to be a draw. Vince Russo asked the PA guy to do it anyway, and Joe screamed at Russo backstage in front of Dixie. He hasn’t been used since.

Yeah, that physique has been a big sticking point for a lot of people. Hard to take a guy serious when he’s looking like that.

That's retarded...

the guy can work his ass off and isn’t exactly a guy who fades late in matches.

I'm not necessarily saying

that I feel that way. It’s just I’ve heard it said many times that people have a hard time watching him with the way he looks. Looking at wrestling for a long time now the norm are these really pumped up bodies with all muscle and no fat. It’s different to see a guy like Joe. The guy can have some outstanding matches, that’s for sure.

Clearly those people have never watched Mighty Mo, Mark Hunt or David Tua fight. Or Umaga wrestle.

Observer picked it up. Same reason I mentioned, said it’s a one month suspension.

It’s worth it, especially if you have the time to listen to the radio shows. I don’t personally, but apparently they’re very good. Plus they post back issues from the 92-93 era every week which are always interesting.

Meltzer is great

because he is just like this site. The blend of the two. You can tell he looks at things in that pro wrestling light. Same as me.
