Dana brings us the wonderful news that we won't be seeing any more of James Toney in the UFC. He never should have been there in the first place but you learn these things. By the way, is it odd that he keeps talking about how Kenny Florian chokes in the bigger fights? That bothers me in some ways. Doesn't seem like the kind of a thing a promoter should be saying.

I don't mean to say that I disagree with Dana.
Florian lost two title shots and a number one contender fight. That’s not good enough. He can’t beat overpowering wrestlers and he’s not better than BJ Penn. But for the promoter to be saying these things? I don’t know. It just struck a bad chord with me.

I understand what you mean. It might of been stupid for Dana to say because now people probably won’t view a win over Florian in the same way before those comments.

Number one rule of fight promotion is to never talk down the guys in the fight.
