Strikeforce: Houston Results - Andre Galvao Beats Jorge Patino
by Geno Mrosko on Aug 21, 2010 9:30 PM EDT
in MMA

In the first fight of the night, Andre Galvao defeated Jorge Patino by TKO, but not without a bit of controversy. Pat Miletich remarked on the broadcast that he felt it was a bad stoppage and I agree. Galvao was on his way to a decision victory so it doesn't much matter but there was no reason to stop the fight.
Daniel Cormeir vs Jason Riley up next.
