According to the Wrestling Observer, we will be getting an extended program between Kane and the Undertaker. Just as we feared. I can think of about 8 people who want to see yet another feud between these two, especially since Taker is coming to his final days as a performer. Plans call for them to feud over the World Heavyweight title over the next few months with planned matches at Night of Champions and of course, Hell in a Cell.
I'm still excited to see what the WWE decides to do to close out Undertaker's career but they haven't started well. What makes them think that another program with Kane will sell is beyond me.

Agreed.
However, I think this could be compelling if they allow Kane to go over. I’d possibly mark out for that.

Only thing I can think of is to bring that storyline to a final point.
And yeah, like Hayabusa says above, if they use it for Kane it could be interesting. They probably should have just retired Undertake when Shawn Michaels went out. There wasn’t a better potential ending than that.
If I was a hungry man with a gun in my hand and some promises to keep...
Just as “we” feared? I have zero problem with this. Kane has been better than usual lately, especially in regards to his promos, and Undertaker is always very good.
I don’t buy the “THEY’RE DOING THIS AGAIN?!?” thing as much of a complaint when it comes to Undertaker/Kane. They’ve had 3 feuds in the last 13 years, with maybe a whiff of a fourth one in 2000 when Big Show got injured and they fast-tracked a Kane heel turn before Summerslam. 3 or 4 feuds in 13 years is nothing.
If Kane gets squashed in their next match, then yeah, it’s lame. But if this is going to be an extended program as the WO mention suggests, that probably won’t be the case, and this should be pretty compelling.
Ido NOT want this, especially if this is takers farewel
Undertaker/Triple H is the BEST possible series and finale.

Actually I believe we are seeing Kane’s farewell here not Taker. Taker will probably bow out at mania. Having seen the promo Kane cut for Smackdown tonight I just get the feeling that the Kane character is having his final chapter.

im cool with that angle
it seems like everyone wants to end their career with an Undertaker series!
For Undertaker’s farewell, again, only HHH makes sense.

The idea of HHH retiring Taker does not excite me. I hope it is an up and coming heel but I’m sure Taker will pick and he will choose HHH

I don't think anyone...
Ends The Streak.
I think The Undertaker retires with it intact.

You know
the only reason I think they keep it intact is because they don’t currently have anyone on the roster who deserves to be the guy to end it. I think Taker would end it, if it was the right guy. They just don’t have that guy.
Forget it Donny, you're out of your element.

Agreed.
If they had a future Austin or The Rock waiting in the wings, I would be on board with ending The Streak.
But all they have are established stars (Cena, Orton, Triple H) who wouldn’t benefit from the rub and guys like Morrison and Punk who aren’t ready for that yet.
If Taker had another year left in him, and he continues to improve as he has, I could definitely see Miz beating him in 2012. That guy is gonna be HUGE.
