"From a fan that ACTUALLY watches the show: Sean Boncato Eric, the WWE fans who complain about TNA and "older guys" aren't even watching the product. If they did, they'd realize that the top 10 is mostly made of TNA guys (Angle is the only real "older" guy). And the old guys, like Flair, have been putting over the young guys, something that, if they watched the show, they'd see that."
"Can anyone name "new, young" talent that has drawn money (thats the real barometer in the business of the wrestling business" over the last 10 years?"
"Interesting resonses. Clearly the majority of people here have NO IDEA what drawing money is. ROH is not making money on TV, PPV or arena shows. Its a backyard vanity project for marks. No disrespect to the talent who are working hard, but NUMBERS DONT LIE, THEY DONT HAVE OPINIONS AND THEY DON'T HAVE AGENDAS."
"Talent that "draws money" sell out major arenas, they set PPV records that they main event in, they sell millions of dollars of merchandise and migrate into mainstream media. It takes time. No top talent that has ACTUALLY DRAWN MONEY has been in the biz for less than 8 years with only two exceptions."
"Eric Bischoff, Controversy IMO social media has become the fly paper for the most vocal and the smallest percentage of fans. Most of the people who are the most active are losers/uneducated miscreants whose only validation of self comes from readng their own comments. 90% of the viewing audience have a completely differect pov (based on REAL research)."

Since we are talking about who draws money and sells merchandise
Lets see who TNA has on their roster that has drawn huge dollars prior to joining TNA. We have Hogan, Flair, Nash, Foley, RVD, Kurt Angle, Sting and Jeff Hardy. That’s a pretty good group of guys with 6 or 7 of them still able to work. Since Eric is saying that there are no new guys drawing money in the last 4 years then it is to TNA’s advantage to have those guys who are proven money makers.
But THEY HAVEN"T DRAWN ANYTHING WORKING FOR TNA! I wonder who would take the blame for that? What is wrong with the machine of TNA when you have those names and that young roster of wrestlers and the company gets worse not better?
The numbers don’t lie they don’t give opinions! These men made Vince tons of money so why aren’t they making money for Dixie Carter?
I know this for certain, if you remove one of those stars from TNA and put him in WWE they’d make that company, and themselves money hand over fist. So what is wrong with TNA when Hornswoggle sells more merch than any of their wrestlers? What is wrong when those gentlemen draw less than 10,000 ppv buys? There is nothing wrong with the wrestlers or TNA’s roster. It is the structure and promotional ability of TNA that is wrong because the numbers don’t lie these performers are the real deal.
Maybe there is just something wrong a TNA producer calls his hardcore audience losers and uneducated miscreants when they are telling YOU what they want to BUY from YOU and YOU don’t give it to them. Could anything be more uneducated than that? I mean shouldn’t it be easy to capture the minds and pockets of those loser marks and get their money? Clearly TNA is too good and elite to take loser money but alas they aren’t getting anyone’s money these days and I thought that was the point of wrestling in the first place.
Wrestling is supposed to get folks to lose their common sense and BUY into a fight between two guys who will work us into believing its validity and get us to PAY to see it. Based on that TNA isn’t even a real wrestling company. They can’t even get the guy who is sitting in his moms living room watching 70’s wrestling and would steal his moms credit card to see a wrestling show to buy a TNA ppv. So you make fun of him and brush him aside.
Bet those loser buy Summerslam on Sunday where 7 heels called Nexus who didn’t exist on a national level 8 months ago, will outdraw every TNA ppv main eventer this year and 5 of them can’t work a lick!
Freedom is a road seldom traveled by the multitudes...

ROH might not draw much in terms of what Eric’s saying, but I’d argue that they have a better business model. TNA is drawing what, 8000 PPV buys with a bloated, totally overpaid roster? TNA doesn’t draw money. None of the guys that did it for another company are doing it for TNA, so Eric’s point is completely invalid. If there was no money mark like Dixie, there would be no TNA.
I’d argue that TNA is the vanity project. It’s just for ONE mark as opposed to a bunch of them.
