The inclusion of the Great Khali in the Summerslam match against the Nexus was an odd booking decision that many fans questioned. Now it seems the WWE has made the decision to take him off the card and replace him with The Miz.
They teased it last night on Raw and the WWE Twitter page had this to say, "WWE Doctors have determined that Great Khali suffered patella and ligament damage. He is unlikely to compete at SummerSlam."

I know its cool to think wwe writers are imbeciles but I'll give them some credit
here because they probably knew from day 1 Khali wasn’t gonna be in the match at Summerslam so using him to get Nexus over was good.
