Cageside Radio 6/22/10 w/ Frank Shamrock on medical marijuana, Werdum vs Fedor, Pancrase, Ken Shamrock, wrestling-style interviews, and much more

Frank Shamrock

Cageside Radio (finally) returns with a great guest in the form of MMA legend Frank Shamrock.  This is a great show with lots of topics covered in 37 minutes including his medical marijuana advocacy, predictions for the top matches at the next Strike Force card, lots of Pancrase stories including how the first generation fighters didn't let the less experienced fighters in on how some fights were worked and some involved carrying lesser opponents to longer matches, his one and only pro wrestling match for U-Style, his split from Ken Shamrock and the Lion's Den, building a fight among other topics about MMA as entertainment, UFC erasing him from history, the Batista rumors, and much more.  This is well worth listening to.

You can download it here.

For previous podcasts that I've done, including interviews with CM Punk and legends like J.J. Dillon, you can check out LoserLeavesTown.net.

Tip of the hat

Thank you for making this an audio interview and not transcribing it.

I'd always rather have a transcription.

I like using semi-colons; they make me feel smart.

Good for you

I know you’re prolly a smart guy reading away and all that stuff. Matter of factly transcriptions are solely responsible for misquotes, out of context, inabilty to convey sarcasim. They may MP3 players pretty cheap nowadays btw. Hearing the words exit the subjects mouth will always be superior to text. As for vast majority, they’re still transcribed for smart guys like this feeling all important etc probably with a lame excuse “I’m at work contributing to society”. He is a rather large deal.

Whoa dude.

Took that a little far didn’t you?

Woops!

I forgot I was dealing with BE readers, the most hyper-sensitive pretentious of the new MMA media. My apologies for offending you. I guess that’s why I never comment on such a devolution of modern manliness webpage. No kicks, No takedowns, I’d snatch you chin.

Wow.

You are really taking a lot of the very little that anyone has said. What’s wrong man?
