Open thread for WWE Raw and TNA Impact on March 8th

The key stuff from TNA's official online preview:

Hulk Hogan & Abyss vs. Ric Flair & AJ Styles;

Sting returns to TNA;

and that's all.

There's also supposed to be a major angle in the first five minutes of the show and "surprise" appearances by Jeff Hardy and Rob Van Dam.  The only other match that has been teased online is Scott Hall & 6-Pac vs. Kevin Nash & Eric Young.

The key stuff from WWE's official online preview:

Raw opens up with The Undertaker (a clear counter programming move);

John Cena vs. Vince McMahon;

Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes & Ted Dibiase;

and illusionist Criss Angel hosts Raw.

Feel free to leave your comments on the shows in this open thread.

LOL at TNA’s big angle being to turn Sting heel yet again to set up Hogan vs. Sting for further old Monday Night Wars inspired nostalgia. At least Sting knows how to play heel better and can talk better than he did in his ill fated September 1999 turn on Hogan I suppose, if you’re scrambling for positives.

Ugh, a Sting heel turn?

Seriously? I guess they had to do that to serve the ego of King Hogan the Egomaniac

Didn't anyone else think the Sting beat down of Hogan after his match with RVD made Hogan look weak?

RVD took a bunch of shots with the bat and kept fighting back, while Hogan took 2 shots with the bat and looked like he needed to go to a hospital.
