Brock Lesnar on Claims on ESPN That The UFC Interim Heavyweight Title Is '"A Make Believe Belt," Is A Hypocrite

Over at Bloody Elbow, Nick Thomas posted the video of UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar's latest ESPN interview.  Brock, never afraid to piss anyone off, downplayed the Frank Mir-Shane Carwin fight for the UFC Interim Heavyweight Title:

That was a business decision that the UFC had to make.  Really, that belt is a make-believe belt to satisfy the company and to satisfy the people in the heavyweight division. I'm still the heavyweight champion.

Ah, how soon he forgets.  Last year, after Mir defeated Antonio Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogieura to win the version of the Interim Title, Lesnar would always assert (in an uncharacteristically humble and polite manner)  that he, having won the lineal title from Randy Couture, was not the champ yet due to the dispute.
