Why stop at eight WWE wrestler deaths before the age of 50, when there's plenty more to choose from?
The Rob Simmons campaign has released a video entitled WrestleMania VII, which intersperses clips of Linda McMahon on Face The State talking about how her priority as CEO of WWE was always to protect the health and wellbeing of their performers with images of eight WWE wrestlers who died from health issues related to their drug abuse, all of whom worked that WrestleMania except for Eddie Guerrero. Clearly someone on Rob Simmons' team is reading Irv Muchnick's blog because the video is obviously inspired by a series of posts by Irv about all the performers that have already died that performed at WrestleMania VII. But why stop there? If you really want to bury Linda McMahon, why don't you really rub it in and publish a YouTube video featuring all the WWE performers that died young through causes related to their choice of career and the lifestyle involved with it? Surely you can find pictures of Russ Haas, Louie Spicolli, Rick McGraw, Crash Holly, Kerry Von Erich, Chris Candido, Andrew Martin, Owen Hart, Yokozuna, Brian Pillman, Mike Bell, Umaga, Johnny Grunge, Terry Gordy, Bertha Faye, Chris Benoit, Rick Rude, Miss Elizabeth, Mike Awesome, Bam Bam Bigelow, Big John Studd, Tony Halme, Steve Dunn, Rocco Rock and anyone else I'm forgetting?

Amazing how much Linda McMahon suddenly cares about politics too.

Its not like im particularly fond of Linda. But SImmons is a piece of shit and a Republican too. Im not gonna say what a great guy he is for exploiting these deaths. While you see these people going “Way to go Robbie!!!!”
Yeah, I’m not going to be pulling for Simmons to win the seat either. He clearly isn’t a great guy with the sort of tactics he’s using in his campaign. My point with my blog post was that if you’re going to play dirty, then you might as well go all the way with it. My only hope is that these dirty tricks lead to further improvements in the health and well being of all WWE performers through significant changes in WWE policy. I doubt that will come to pass, but I can live in hope.
