Keep in mind that this could be a negotiating ploy to get more from Dana White. It's been widely speculated that Lesnar would like to headline WrestleMania in 2011 and Dana won't let him. White has openly discussed his desire to book Lesnar against Frank Mir as a coach on The Ultimate Fighter. Rumors of a Brendan Schaub vs Frank Mir match in spring 2011 seemed to have scotched that possibility, but yesterday's announcement that Schaub would be facing
Stefan StruveMirko Filipovic aka Cro Cop, re-opens Mir-Lesnar 3 as a possible capper to an epic season of TUF.My bet (hope) is that Meltzer's source is someone in the Lesnar camp (ie Paul Heyman) who is trying to talk up Lesnar's disinterest in returning to the UFC in order to raise the asking price.
Kid Nate speculates that the recent leaked information about Brock Lesnar's current negative mindset is a negotiating ploy by his camp to raise his asking price." As an update to Kid Nate's story, Dave Meltzer on today's Wrestling Observer radio show was speculating (some would say pushing the idea) again that Brock Lesnar being a coach on The Ultimate Fighter reality TV show with Frank Mir would be a mutually favourable ratings quid pro quo for Dana White allowing Brock to pick up an easy WrestleMania pay check. According to Meltzer, Lesnar's goal for this year is to make as much money as possible. What better way to maximise his autobiography sales, that Paul Heyman ghost wrote, than to appear both on WWE Raw and The Ultimate Fighter almost simultaneously in the run up to the book’s release?

This story is blowing up everywhere
Lesnar left WWE after being on the road and having the responsibility of carrying the company. Perhaps he’s exhausted from having to do the same with UFC. One thing is certain, when you have a child and a wife and your last two fights took a heavy toll on you, one might reconsider the future. Would Lesnar work a Taker-like WWE schedule? Rumble-mania then off the summer, Summerslam-Survivor Series then off until Rumble again? I think he would and he would make crazy amounts of money being that he’s drawn million dollar buys outside of WWE.
WWE needs a huge star and Lesnar can headline with Cena, Batista, HHH, Taker, Miz, Edge, Jericho, Goldberg(done right) and draw tons of ppv buys over the next two years. That could fetch Lesnar a contract worth more than 6-7 million as a base from WWE. I’m not sure if UFC will match that for 2-3 fights a year.
This cold get very interesting considering Lesnar only has 1 fight left on that contract and WWE could buy that out if Dana decides to let him go.

Too bad the wrestling nooz sites are going with a sexed up version of what Dave said.
Who knows here, you are talking about a fight camp that has wrestling media svengali Heyman with millions of dollars to be made nothing will surprise me here.
You can bet Heyman in involved and however it turns out Lesnar will make more money for less work this year
It’s a win-win situation and Heyman is most likely pulling the strings. Can you imagine what kind of number Heyman threw at WWE knowing how bad they need a ppv draw and how much Lesnar is worth and Heyman having in depth knowledge of WWE’s inner workings? That contract must be blowaway figures for Lesnar to even contemplate it.

I want to fuss about Lesnar and his lack of…effort to get back into the cage and fix the holes in his game, but I just can’t be mad at a guy who can make money like Lesnar does. He might not be the mastermind behind it, but the dude knows how to get paid.
I do hope that this is just Lesnar angling for more money from the UFC, certainly he knows that he can manhandle at LEAST 80% of the HW division…and if he can get paid for fighting someone who won’t crush him like Cain did, then he’ll certainly stick with it. With the recent changes in the Schaub/Mir fight, one wonders if Lesnar decided to go for the rubber match with Mir, thinking he’ll take little damage once again.
