WWE announced on their website today that they had come to terms on the release of MVP from his contract and as is customary wished him well on his future endeavours. Soon after MVP confirmed on his Twitter account that he had asked for his release and hadn't been unwillingly fired from the company. It sounds like he wants to work in Japan. Given the weak state of the Japanese wrestling industry, he may struggle to find full time work, unless he has a gig lined up already . At least he won't be frustrated by treading water in the WWE mid card any longer.

Damn!
Is it just me? I thought MVP was good. Always had good matches. Not too bad on the mike. I hope he ends up somewhere I can find him.

Congrats to MVP
Hopefully, he’ll be somewhere where he’s wanted and promoted correctly. I look forward to seeing his future non-WWE matches. The dude can wrestle and will certainly be successful where ever he ends up.
Yeah, congrats on quitting your steady job to follow your dream of being dropped on your head in front of 150 folks a night.
Better then getting fucked up by a greenhorn who's shit in the ring but is going to be kept for his mic skills

Yeah, because I’m sure wherever he is going, there will be nothing but veterans and people who consider wrestling SERIOUS BIZNESS!~~!~!~

I’m not even sure how to answer that question. Seriously, I picture you wearing a monocle with a pipe in your mouth while typing that. "The industry," like it’s oil or something. There’s a reason wrestlers look down on marks, you know.
I tell you what B, since you know so much ’bout ’wrasslin, name me a few companies that are steadier gigs than the WWE right now.
