Ratings for last night's live Impact are in and TNA has to be very pleased with the numbers. The show did a 1.32 for 1.7 million viewers, which is up from the 1.2 they did last week. At the peak point of the show the rating got as high as a 1.44, which was during the Foley-Flair match.

TNA has to be happy that the go home show for Bound for Glory did numbers as good as these. However, as many have pointed out, including John Lamb right here on CSS, it wasn't a very good show overall. I can't imagine too many viewers were enticed enough to purchase the PPV.

I’m sure Russo will use this healthy number to suggest that his frenetic writing style still works, despite Bound For Glory likely drawing it’s worst numbers in history on Sunday. However, it doesn’t say much for the future of the company when the ratings were drawn by a pair of Randy The Ram’s trying to relive their glory days with a combined age of 106.
