LIVE TNA Impact! Thoughts 10.7.2010
Seriously, this might've been the worst professional wrestling television show I've ever seen.

The Foley-Flair match didn’t live up to the billing given to it by Foley but it was entertaining in it’s own little way. The battle royal was decent but the stipulation was stupid. I really wish they would go through with firing Abyss after Bound for Glory. Everything about his gimmick and the way he carries it out to the storylines they’ve come up with for him. It’s garbage and it shouldn’t be on TV.
Forget it Donny, you're out of your element.

I wanted to do a big write up of for this show but my mind was so blown from the jump that I couldn’t put my fingers to the keyboard. Now that I’ve collected myself maybe we can use these bullet points as a jumping off point for conversation.
- If Abyss really kidnapped Dixie why did no one call the cops?
- What the hell are Sting, Nash, Pope, Jarrett, Joe, Bisch and Hogan even feuding about
- 10/10/10
- The Mickey James segment was actually okay but anticlimatic.
- I actually found myself enjoying the Foley-Flair match until I sat back and realized that Rick god damn mother truckin Flair was working a hardcore match, thumbtacks and all, ON FREE TELEVISION. Also, the botched ending and subsequent mystified reactions from Tenay and Taz was very, very bad.
- RVD referencing Wrestler’s Court, saying he is 1010% serious, pretty much saying he would quit if Bischoff fired Abyss. Awful.
- Ink Inc v. Ice Cream and Caramel. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- THE SHORE@@*@(*)
- I loved two things about the battle royal – the first being that it went about 13 minutes longer than the allotted time for Impact! and the fact that the entrance intervals were pretty random. Some were 45 seconds others seemed like 12 seconds and then RVD came out 10 minutes after the last participant entered the match.
- WAIT I THOUGHT RVD WASN’T CLEARED TO WRESTLE UNTIL 10/10/10
TNA sucks. Vine Russo was only good for the WWF/E because he had McMahon as his filter. Get rid of him, please.
