When chris died, they refused to forward me his last paycheck (for the week of shows in which he broke his ankle, which is the reason he died) so I could pay off some of his bills. They refused, b/c we werent legally married. So bills I had of his, in both our names, ended up being my sole responsibility. It was only a $1500 check, but still. fucking scumbags.

They had Terry Taylor call me and tell me that. So he basically broke his ankle and died for free. They sent the check in his name, which I couldnt endorse and deposit...so when i asked them to cut me a new check in my name, they said no.

I think the story might have been they were worried about her spending it on drugs.

Although even if that is true, it’s probably not right to use a legal loophole to get out of giving her money, just because you think you know what the money’s going on.

If that story is old, it’s still new to me. That’s utterly digusting. If they were so concerned about her drug use, they could have paid the outstanding bills themselves.
