WWE clearly unnerved by the latest developments in Linda McMahon's campaign
If Dick Blumenthal calling out Linda McMahon about the death clauses in WWE contracts, the debatably ineffective WWE Wellness policy and the seven former WWE wrestlers that have died during her campaign wasn't bad enough, then the Connecticut media's response to this hasn't helped. Most notably, Daniela Altimari for the Hartford Courant did a very well researched and damning follow up piece entitled "Substance Abuse In WWE Dogs Linda McMahon's Senate Run", while Ted Mann of The Day nicely summed up what was consequently "A rough morning for McMahon". Worse was to come, as the Democrats unveiled their most devestating attack ad yet on Linda McMahon:
WWE are clearly unnerved by the latest developments in Linda McMahon's campaign. Why else would they post on their website a story spinning how prominent Democrat politicians like Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Howard Dean, Terry McAuliffe, Steny Hoyer and John Kerry all "embraced WWE" when they supported their non-partisan political initiatives?
