I can’t complain about those first two matches.

These wrestler intro’s are getting longer and longer to the point they almost last longer than the matches.

WWE needs to give up on women wrestlers. If it were only them coming out to be gawked at… …sweet. But for pete’s sake dont give any of them a mic. And dear god dont let them ‘wrestle’.

As for the Rumble itself… …were there ever more than six guys in the ring at one time?? What happened to 20 guys standing in there throwing heat?? And to give it to Edge in less than 5 minutes makes me feel like I got robbed. What will Edge’s storyline be now. Let’s hope he gives up the crybaby routine.

I thought for sure Cena would take the rumble for a rematch with Sheamus.

I agree about the women wrestlers. There was a time that every woman wrestler on the roster could actually fight. Every time WWE gets one that can (Victoria, Jackie, Chyna, Trish) they cut them and replace them with a playboy model, or someone who can’t act but has big fake titties. They don’t hire em for there wrestling ability anymore. Give it up.

As for Sheamus. I like him. But it was to early for a title win. He should have been an I-C or US champ first. Or a ECW Champ. It’s the Brock Lesnar thing all over again. Rumbles used to be a jumping off point for up and coming stars. Lately it’s just another storyline peice for established stars.

Lets be fair here

Gail Kim, Katie Lea, Melina, Beth Phoenix, Natalya, and Mickie James can all straight up go with the best of them. On top of that Rosa, Michelle McCool, and Jillian are passable. The others are mostly useless in the ring or I just haven’t seen enough, but as long as they seem like they are working at it I don’t mind. Look at a Kelly Kelly match now and one when they started putting her in the ring, she really has improved. Sure some of them are absolutely atrocious in the ring, but there is still a viable women’s division out there, the WWE just doesn’t show it to us.

Jillian is actually pretty good in the ring

but her gimmick is terrible but her finish is/was the 450 splash

Great Rumble

I only saw the Rumble match itself, along with the Oroton-Sheamus fight, and thought that the actual Rumble was fantastic. I really liked that they never had that 5-10 minute downtime when it’s just a bunch of mid-carders filling up the ring doing nothing. I liked the quick pace, as it was a real change from previous years.
