ROH 9/25/09 in Boston Results

                                   
The Final Countdown to Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuiness' last ROH appearances continue. I will list match results on the next page for those of you who hate spoilers. However, I will say that the Young Bucks continue to impress the ROH crowd, Nigel got on the mic and put Roderick Strong over as a guy that can carry the ROH torch after his departure, and Danielson vs Davey Richards is being called a Match of the Year candidate. This show is being called one of the first "must own" shows that ROH has held in a long time, with the Danielson-Richards match being hailed as an instant classic by those in attendance.

• The Young Bucks beat Cheech & Cloudy, with the fans giving the match a standing ovation
• Delirious pinned Sonjay Dutt in what is being called a pure comedy match
• Claudio Castignoli won a 4-way that also featured Petey Williams, El Generico, and Chris Hero, after a Ricolla Bomb on Williams.
• Kevin Steen defeated Eddie Edwards after a piledriver through 4 chairs.
• Bret Hart, attending the show for an autograph appearance, got on the mic and put over ROH.
• The Dark City Saints squashed Alex Payne & Bobby Dempsey
• Roderick Strong pinned Nigel McGuiness
• Rhett Titus & Austin Aries defeated Colt Cobana & Kenny Omega, with Titus pinning Colt after a shot to the groin
• In the main event, Davey Richards defeated Bryan Danielson via submission in a 45 minute match
