Tim Sylvia will Play Jason Voorhees in new Friday the 13th Sequel

Jason_voorhees1_medium

Last week we heard the fake news that Quinton "Rampage" Jackson would fill Mr.T's shoes in an upcoming A-Team movie. Finding out it wasn't really happening was heart wrenching.  Luckily, the heavyweights are in the house, capable as always of topping the little guys.  Sure Mr. T is an icon, but he's no Jason Voorhees.

Who is possibly awkward enough and slow enough of foot to play the plodding serial killer?  Only one man comes to mind: The Maine-iac Tim Sylvia. Fighters.com has the story.

Star-divide

Former UFC heavyweight champion "Maine-iac" Tim Sylvia (24-6) is currently in Boston playing horror film icon Jason Vorhees in the yet-to-be-titled "Friday the 13th" sequel, Fighters.com has confirmed with a source close to the fighter.

Have no fear about Sylvia's training regiment while he works on the movie.  He'll be training with Mark DellaGrotte and Kenny Florian while he's in Boston for Friday the 13th.  Sylvia has lost three in a row.  The chances of making it four just increased ten fold with this latest distraction.

Hopefully Ray Mercer KOs Big Dim seconds into the movie and does us all a favor.

I became a Sylvia fan after his fight with Big Nog… then, recently, I saw an interview with some kid where he was a total dick and was glad that he got knocked out so bad by Mercer.

Yeah, I felt bad for him when he was the heavyweight champ who everyone hated because he won all his fights by leaning his opponent against the cage and being tall. His fights were boring but people legit hated the dude more than they probably had a right to. Then he slowly started to show himself to be a delusional ass and now I’m kinda glad life is taking a collective shit on him.

If only he could actually win that way. “Your winner, by height, Tim Sylvia.”

If Jason was a MMA fighter I could not see him wanting to win Sylvia style.
