Carl De Marco resigns as head of WWE Canada

Carl DeMarco, President of WWE Canada, whatever that actually entails, has resigned from his position.  De Marco is featured throughout Bret Hart's book, as he somehow goes from Bret's #1 fan in Toronto when he was working as mid-card babyface Buddy "The Heartthrob" Hart to Bret's buddy who drove him around when he came to Toronto to Bret's business manager to Jack Tunney's replacement as head of WWF/E Canada to the guy who calls Bret on the phone semi-regularly to get him to do an angle for Wrestlemania or Survivor Series.  Seriously though, does anyone actually know what the President of WWE Canada actually does other than serve as a reminder to read Bret Hart's book?  If you do, please post in the comments.
